Weetona Stanley and W.E. Smith ’s Coronas Fast Prize (Corona Cartel-Fast First Prize by Heza Fast Man) makes her first start in 11 months after winning three of four starts early in her juvenile campaign. Her only setback was a seventh-place finish as part of the odds-on-favored entry in the Remington Park Futurity (G1). Her three wins came in futurity trials at Louisiana Downs and Remington Park. The Reed Cattle Company’s homebred Rock N Zoom (Shazoom-Meter Me Rockin by Meter Me Gone) has been off the board in her two 2011 starts after showing promise last summer at Ruidoso Downs. The quick miss was a game second behind champion American Runaway in their Rainbow Futurity (G1) trial and then raced to a fifth-place finish in the final. She was also the fifth place finisher in the Hobbs America Futurity (G2) at Zia Park. Tina and Dale Kolb’s Fame Fatale (Dash Ta Fame-Chic Easy Colours by Hot Colours) has matured while scoring her two career wins in her latest two starts. The Michelle Hurdle-trained filly wrapped up her 2010 season with a conditioned allowance win at Will Rogers Downs and then started her 2011 campaign with a neck win in the Prissy Gold Digger Stakes at Remington Park with 16-1 odds. |
