Spit Curl Duchess, a SPIT CURL JESS filly who impressed horsemen during the first day of schooling races at Remington two weeks ago, won the 11th trial for owner Elbert Brown. Saddled by Rodney Reed and ridden by G.R. Carter, Jr., she posted the fourth best time of :15.486. The sorrel filly was bred in Oklahoma by A.C. Taylor from the Toast To Dash mare American Dove.
