OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—MAY 7, 2011—Remington Park hosted another 10 qualifying trials for the $1,000,000 Heritage Place Futurity on Saturday night. A racing rarity took place as a pair of runners shared the top qualifying title for the night, posting the exact same 350-yard time in back-to-back races.

Remington Park Futurity winner Mighty B Valiant and Fast Prize Jordan who ran last in that same event in April, both covered the ground in their respective trials in :17.603 seconds over a fast track. Mighty B Valiant handled his competition to set the time first in trial number seven while Fast Prize Jordan equaled the time in the very next race, trial number eight.

Owned by You and Me Partners of Lawton, Okla. and trained by Raymond Vargas, Mighty B Valiant was ridden by G.R. Carter. The strapping 2-year-old colt found his powerful stride about 200 yards from the finish to stretch out and win by two lengths while in hand at the end.

Bred by Homer Hill in Oklahoma, Mighty B Valiant stayed perfect in his blossoming career at three wins from three starts, all at Remington Park. He earned another $8,838 for his trial performance to move his career bankroll to $329,622.

Fast Prize Jordan then answered the clocking of Mighty B Valiant for owners Weetona Stanley and W.E. Smith of Madill, Okla. Trained by Heath Reed, the colt was also ridden by Carter who will have a decision to make in picking a mount for the final.

Fast Prize Jordan was bred in Oklahoma by Weetona Stanley . The colt by PYC Paint Your Wagon from the Mr Jess Perry mare Fast Prize Doll won his second of three career races, all this season at Remington Park. The winning trial check of $8,784 moves his overall earnings to $33,168.

The pair of two-year-olds was also the top two qualifiers earlier this season to the $780,000 Remington Park Futurity.

The five from Saturday that will proceed to the Grade 1, Heritage Place Futurity on May 28, with times, are: Mighty B Valiant and Fast Prize Jordan , both with times of :17.603; Ranch Candy, : 17.621; DM Strait Up, :17.665 and Judge James, :17.717. Carter also qualified two others from Saturday night in Ranch Candy and DM Strait Up.
