The 10 fastest qualifiers will return to the South Florida raceway on December 29th and vie for a winne 's purse of $171,885.
Ridden by jockey Yordanis Amaro, Pyc First Prize Fany stopped the clock in :21.429 seconds, a 98 speed index for the 440 yards. She had the second fastest overall time. Ricardo Martinez owns-and-trains the Pyc Paint Your Wagon filly who has won three of six starts this season. She came into the trials off a third place effort in the $70,840 Governors’ Stakes at Indiana Downs on October 12. She has earned more than $25,000 this season. She is the first foal, bred by Weetona Stanley and William Smith, from the Mr Jess Perry mare First Prize Fancy, a full sister to three-grade 1 winners.
