De Galle rolled to a half-length score against other 3-year-old maidens in race four, a $19,100 Maiden. The Oklahoma-bred by Carters Cartel from the Mr Jess Perry mare First Prize Paris, made his initial Remington Park start a winning one for owner and breeder Weetona Stanley of Madill, Okla. Jockey G.R. Carter was up for the win on De Galle. The 3-year-old covered the 330 yard course in a quick :16.629 seconds to earn a 95 speed index. The $14,940 winner's purse boosted his career total to $17,194. The colt had made one start at two last season, when he finished second by a nose at Prairie Meadows. |
