The 10 fastest two-year-olds, from the 35 head that participated in the trials, will return to the Northwest New Mexico racetrack on Sunday, August 9 and vie for the winner's share of a $35,000-added purse going 350 yards. Coming off a maiden win at Ruidoso Downs on June 7, b>Made To Dash was the first of five finalists trained by Wes T. Giles. The daughter of Tac It Like a Man showed speed all the way under jockey Ivan Canero to get the second fastest clocking of :17.536 after her easy trial victory. Keith Spears owns the Oklahoma-bred filly out of First Prize Corona, by Corona Cartel. Bred by Weetona Stanley and W.E. Smith, she has compiled a (4) 2-0-1 record and earned $9,050.
