LADYBUG HAS CONNECTIONS TO 2007 CHAMPION NOMINEES

Photo by Scott MartinezAMRILLO, TX--JANUARY 13, 2008--Three off-spring from the female line of of Ladybug Stallion Station's leading Broodmare of the Year First Prize Dash have been nominated for championship honors again.
From the immediate family, her grade 1 winning daughter First Carolina is among the nominees for Champion 3-Year-Old Filly. First Carolina won the Heritage Place Derby(G1) and was a finalist in the Texas Classic Derby(G1) last season.
First Prize Dash's son Heza Fast Dash, the #2 second year sire in the nation last year, is the sire of Champion 2-Year-Old gelding nominee Senor Seabolt.
Senor Seabolt won seven of 8 starts and earned $339,278 at 2. His wins included the Lee Berwick Memorial Louisiana Bred Futurity-RG1 Louisiana Downs Champions Juvenile-RG3 Evangeline Downs Futurity and his only defeat was a third place finish in the Louisiana Champions Day Juvenile Stakes-RG3.
The final nominee from the female line hails through the granddam Rose Bug's mother, Casco Rose, and is the leading contender for World Champion American Racing Quarter Horse of 2007.
Among her wins these season, Blues Girl Too won the Champion of Champions-G1 and broke Dash For Cash's 31-year-old track record for 440 yards at Los Alamitos Race Course.
