OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—APRIL 8, 2016—Two-year-olds by Weetona Stanley and W.E. Smith posted the second fastest time for the $958,000 Remington Park Futurity(RG2) and the second fastest time for the $100,000-Guranteed Remington Park Juvenile Invitational Friday night during 12 trial races at Remington Park.

An $18,000 repurchase at the Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale, V Power was purchased privately from breeders Weetona Stanley and W.E. Smith. David Moore owns the son of leading sire Valiant Hero from the Mr Jess Perry mare Ferrari Fast Prize. V Power is a half-brother to 2015 Dash For Cash Futurity(G1) runner-up Ferrari Gt.

Saddled by trainer Jerry Ingles, V Power broke his maiden March 19th with an impressive one-length win. Paul Nieto rode him to a three-quarter length win in tonight's trial race.

Nueve Partners' Apolltical Chad ended the night with the seventh fastest time of :16.898 which qualified him to the $100,000-Guranteed Remington Park Juvenile Invitational. Brian Muse trains the Apollitical Jess gelding out Fast Prize Tracy, by Shazoom. Weetona Stanley and W.E. Smith bred the $38,000 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale graduate.
