PYC FIRST PRIZE MIA PREVAILS IN DELTA DASH STAKES

Ridden by jockey David Alvarez, Pyc First Prize Mia completed the 250 yards in :13.102 seconds to earn a 90-speed index. The $12,000 winner's purse boosted her career total to just under $40,000.

Snipes And Bites is a multiple stakes-placed son of Vrrroom owned by Pete Scarmardo and trained by Brian Stroud. James and Marilyn Helzer bred the 5-year-old in Texas from the Corona For Me mare Br Corona Sensation. The $4,000 second place check brings the sorrel geldings earnings to $53,066.
John Hamilton was aboard Sydney Leigh for owner/trainer Martin Trejo. David Bates, Jr. and Darrell Cripps bred the First Prize Perry mare in Louisiana from the Chicks Beduino mare Include. The multiple stakes-placed 6-year-old has earned $66,452.
Wild Tycoon, King Daddy Dove, Shes A Fast Dash, Chicks Leaving You, Voncitas Game, Runaway Mystery and Game Rita completed the field.
