V POWER QUALIFIES TO GRADE 1

© Dustin Orona PhotographyOKLAHOMA CITY, OK—MAY 14, 2016—The second set of 12 trials for the Grade 1, $1,083,420 Heritage Place Futurity took place Saturday night at Remington Park.
Remington Park Oklahoma Bred Futurity(RG3) runner-up V Power put in a sharp effort in trial 6 to set the fourth fastest clocking, from 96 head of two-year-olds participating in trials, of :17.569 seconds.
Paul Nieto rode the Valiant Hero gelding for trainer Jerry Ingles. David K. Moore owns the $18,000 Ruidoso Select Sale Yearling repurchase.
Bred in Oklahoma by Weetona Stanley and W.E. Smith, from the Mr Jess Perry mare Ferarri Fast Prize, V Power has compiled a (4) 3-1-0 record and earned $180,484 this season.
The 12 trials on Saturday night were conducted with consistent weather. The program experienced a light 11mph tailwind early in the night that eventually calmed to almost no wind at all.
