STAKES WINNER PYC FUN N FANCY QUALIFIES
TO RICH HERITAGE PLACE FUTURITY

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—MAY 13, 2017—Remington Park completed the second night of qualifying trials for the $1,154,700 Heritage Place Futurity on Saturday night with Jose Guzman's stakes winner Pyc Fun N Fancy getting the fourth fastest time.

Ridden by jockey Daniel Torres, Pyc Fun N Fancy clocked a :17.864 time with a second-place effort to Trace Dynasty in the ninth of 12 trials.

Trainer Luz Chavira conditions the stakes winning 2-year-old son of leading sire Pyc Paint Your Wagon from the Mr Jess Perry mare First Prize Fancy.

Bred in Oklahoma by Weetona Stanley, Pyc Fun N Fancy is a brother to Remington Park Futurity(RG3) winner Im A Fancy Pyc and 2016 Speedhorse Futurity(G3) winner Fast N Fancy. Another sister First Fancy Prize won the Mother's Day Stakes at Delta Downs tonight.

The $32,000 Heritage Place Yearling Sale graduate has compiled a (4) 2-2-0 record and earned $132,597 this season. He won the Laico Bird Stakes on April 22nd and was second in the Grade 3 Oklahoma Futurity on March 25th.

The Saturday qualifiers for the richest horse race in Oklahoma, all faced a slight headwind ranging between 7 to10 mph.
