The bay filly posted a 3-1/2 length win today, against the best 2-year-olds in the country, while shattering the Ruidoso Downs track record. She covered 400 yards in :19.028 seconds, a 110 speed index, into a 7 mph headwind. The previous record of :19.149 seconds was set by reigning world champion Empressum on May 30, 2021. Under champion jockey Francisco Calderon Dark Nme broke on top in the Rainbow final and widened with each stride. One Valiant Love and Trane Station V finished in a dead-heat for second, a nose in front of Ruidoso QH Futurity(G1) runner-up Wired 440. Santos Carrizales, Jr. conditions the daughter of All American Futurity sire Hes Relentless for owner TYKHE Racing LLC. The $65,000 Heritage Place September Yearling Sale graduate was bred in Oklahoma by L. Hendrix Horses LLC from the Spit Curl Jess mare Quions. Dark Nme is a sister to Black Gold 350 Championship Futurity winner Mr Dillard. This is the immediate family of AQHA Distance Challenge Championship(G1) winner Cr Tuckernuck and the third dam is Heritage Place Futurity(G1) winner Fast First Prize.
