Photo by Don ShugartOKLAHOMA CITY, OK—APRIL 25, 2008—First year sire Fly Jess Fly picked up his third winner form just six starters on Friday night when Jess Fly Me cruised to a ˝ length victory in a Remington Park maiden race. Bred and owned by Weetona Stanley, the gray gelding is out of the Lady Bug Stallion Station mare Wanna Be Me. Jess Fly Me was picking up his first win from only two starts. His dam is a stakes-placed Disco Jerry (TB) mare bred and raced at Lady Bug Stallion Station. Wanna Be Me earned $16,587 while finishing second in the Blackhawk Stakes. She is the dam of five ROM and four winners from five starters. She is also the granddam of 2008 Oklahoma Futurity(G2) runner-up Wanna Fly Jessie SI 95 ($33,408). Fly Jess Fly's three winners have earned $70,224 for average earnings per starter of $11,704. He has sired one grade 2 stakes-placed runner and two grade 2 stakes qualifiers.
