FAST PRIZE DASH POSTS BULLET WORK TUESDAY Date Posted: 2/17/2009 5:34:06 PM OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—FEBRUARY 17, 2009—W.E. Smith and Weetona Stanley's three-year-old colt Fast Prize Dash posted the bullet work of the day for 220 yards at Remington Park on Tuesday morning.
The son of Mr Jess Perry out of grade 1 winner and producer Fast First Prize was clocked in :11.57 seconds. He is expected to compete in the derby season at Remington Park and Ruidoso Downs. He won one of two starts last season, including his trial for the Rainbow Futurity. Fast First Prize won the 2002 Heritage Place Futurity(G1) and is the dam of 2008 West Texas Futurity(G1) winner and 300 yard world record holder Fast Prize Zoom ($190,475). Fast Prize Dash is a full-brother to stakes-placed Fast Prize Doll an earner of more than $80,000 and Fast Prize Rose who brought $200,000 in the Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale last summer. |
