FLY JESS FLY TWO YEAR OLDS HAVE GOOD SHOWING AT REMINGTON Date Posted: 2/20/2009 11:35:19 AM OKAHOMA CITY, OK—FEBRUARY 19, 2009— Jess Wanna Fly, a filly by second year sire Fly Jess Fly, had the third fastest clocking from 74 two-year-olds who competed in training races on Thursday at Remington Park in Oklahoma City. Thursday's ten races were the fourth group of mixed two-year-olds making their first official works from the gate at 250 yards. Jess Wanna Fly finished second in the fifth race with a :13.76 on Thursday. The filly out of Lady Bug Stallion Station's mare Wanna Be Me was a $26,000 purchase by W.E. Smith in the Heritage Place Yearling Sale. A second Fly Jess Fly filly, Fly Del Rey won the sixth race in :13.89 seconds. The filly owned by Fred Stanley is out of Lady Bug Stallion Station's multiple stakes producing mare Disco Del Rey.
