FAST PRIZE CORONA QUALIFIES TO OKLAHOMA BRED DERBY IN COMEBACK RACE Date Posted: 8/16/2009 1:45:45 AM SALLISAW, OK—AUGUST 15, 2009— Going off as the trial favorite Fast Prize Corona finished a game third by a neck to fastest qualifier Ms Royal Zevi and Chiseled By Fisher, while making her three-year-old debut and only her third lifetime start. The Corona Cartel filly out of Heritage Place Futurity winner and grade 1 producer Fast First Prize ran a 101 speed index in her first start last season at Remington Park. Following an off the board performance in her next start she was sidelined for the rest of the season due to an indury. Racing for her breeder Weetona Stanley and partner W.E. Smith, the bay miss was saddled by Brian Muse and ridden by Cody Smith. Her time of :19.755 was the third best of the day. Fast Prize Corona is a half-sister to grade 1 West Texas Futurity World Record Holder Fast Prize Zoom.
